The apology

On January 14th the Black Knight ran for the first time after the surgery. The police had many problems to stop the applauding crowd of people gathered to celebrate the return of the invincible knight.
At the moment the only problem is the weakness of the muscles around the knee that I must completely rebuild.
The weekly schedule is 3 days swimming (1500 metres), 3 days running (45/60 minutes) and rest on wednesday. No bike because I am scared again to use the fastenings under the shoes.
In this photo there are the Black Knight and his wife during the celebration. The President Obama sent his apologies for the abscence, for this reason the annoyed Black Knight didn't go to the White House for the settling of the new President.

  5. My report: The commander of the new forces, representing, really, the very old ways, has entered into the capital and displaced the dark forces. The 2d in command, who was whispered to have really been in charge, barely escaped by getting away in a wheel chair. The nominal chief, who seemed ignorant as always that there were avenues available beyond the singular path he clung to, was extracted by his remaining loyal guard with their last gunship, and taken to a wild place called Texas where the fringe forces plot their comeback and hope to rebuild their shattered forces.

Practically with a wave of his hand the new commander instantly dispensed with the old and wrought the new changes, such is his power. I saw this. But he is young, and not yet fully steeped in protocol. That is why he missed your dinner. (He is also very busy being The One.) Be forgiving of this oversight and he will perhaps do great things.

However we must remain vigilant and ensure that the cowardly and bankrupt former forces do not grow to power anew. They seem to be pinning their hopes on a reactionary leader called Jeb, or perhaps a modern day Joan of Arc (in their eyes) called Sarah, who hail from the furthest corners of the land, a place called Florida which gave us the former leader thanks to their use of the devilish butterfly ballot in 2000, and a place called Alaska where the dark leader there closely watches the Russians every day out of her window. These forces hope someday to reassert themselves from where they cling to life in these extremities.

  17. i love the look that you're giving the queen. clearly, the black knight wants to impress her, but she's not yet certain that BK deserves her affections. i think more pool training is in order.

  18. So happy you are back! I'm with you, I'd be afraid to clip into the bike too, right now. Wait til you are fully rehabilitated. Mrs. Black Knight loks very happy! And I'm sure it was just an oversight that kept mr. obama from presenting himself to the black knight.

(Peter sure knows how to write a story, doesn't he??!)

  19. So glad that you're recovering. That's quite a schedule you're following. You are nothing short of a miracle.

I read an article in the March issue of Runner's World about Matt Long and I thought about you. Someone should write an article about your recovery. Keep up the good work! Best regards to your Gracious Queen. :-)
