November

(before the last race: too sunny!!!)

(stormy weather on sunday)
Virtual race? November is a month without interesting races around our city, so the Black Knight Army's members planned a "think tank" to decide the possible organization of a virtual race among all the bloggers friends. The distance could be 10k and we have already 3 prizes: black running shirts long sleeves. What do you think? Any idea? Rules?
Workouts. I spent the last week (after the race) making physiotherapy and having thermal baths but the back hurts again. Luckily, despite that pain, I was able to run 4 workouts: 2 easy (10.3 and 10.1 km), 1 "long" (17 km) and 1 negative split - on sunday - under the rain (11 km). Tomorrow I hope to come back to the swimming pool for the cross training.

Have a good week and a wonderful november.

  1. You did really well to get your runs done with your sore back. I hope it improves soon.

  2. Hi Stefano,
Oh my goodness, the water looks fierce! You really did have some stormy weather.

Wow, I am impressed with how you were able to tough it out and get your workouts done with a sore back! Hopefully the thermal baths will help:)

I think it is a great idea to have a virtual run for November. November is a slow running month here in Minnesota. I think I have one 5K at the end of the month. Count me in! I will run in your virtual race for the month of November:) Looking forward to it!

    Have a wonderful week Stefano!

  4. I'd love to do a virtual 10K, especially if on of the prizes is for running with a bum heel :). Hope the back's feeling better soon!!

  6. Tough weather. Good job fighting back - Cross training is a great thing which I use cycling to mix it up.

  7. It depends on what day you will do the virtual run. And my schedule has only longer runs this month than 10K but I don't think that is a problem?

  12. Wow, those are very nice photos. Sorry that your back is giving you pain, but it seems you are very tough and still runs. Well done! I've got a busy November but I'm sure I can fit in a 10km virtual race. As long as I can do it in the week. Will be fun!

  21. A virtual international run by members of The Black Knight Army is a brilliant idea. The twisted sisters would definitely take part. The glory would be held in Australia. I posted your shirt 2 weeks ago and hope you receive it soon
