Special guests

Injury Update. Boring topic. The pain was always there and the knee didn't heal so I went to the orthopedic doctor. After a long check he found an inflammation of the sciatic nerve in a hidden part of the leg behind the knee. The anti-inflammatory cure: 6 shots and 10 pills for a total of 16 days (this is the 8th day). Forbidden to run. This evening I can come back to swim in moderate mode. Believe me, I am really tired to post only health (injury) problems!

The Guests: here you can see two welcome guests from my garden. The first is hidden somewhere near his masterpiece, the second brings home the food that I give him daily.

Do you have special guests at home?

  4. More healing thoughts coming your way. Yes, lots of summer guests here too. I don't mind the crawling kind as much as the stinging kind.

  8. I hope you can start running after this treatment. I can just imagine how frustrated you must be by now. We have many special guests like that in our garden and quite often in our home.

  9. Hope you will get better and after the treatment can get back to running.

I have too many house guests in my garden like the first one you show. The other ones are frogs that live in our pond. Usually we have 3 to 4 frogs in the pond during Summer, this year there is only 1.

  10. We too have a few special guests that visit us regularly. Lots of spiders. Lots of geckos. Lots of moths that the geckos eat. Sometimes mice and rats. And occasionally a snake.

  11. Hope the treatments work. Enjoy the spider! In my garden, I have lots of chipmunks. Less terrifying than spiders!

  12. Well, that's promising. Anti-inflams can work wonders.

Sometimes kangaroos in the front yard, especially when it's dry and there's not much grass on the hills.
