2014 in numbers and pictures

2014, one year to forget because of the many injures: one fall in january, the fracture of the collar bone and the lesion of the tendon in february, the fracture of the D7 vertebra in june. However I am recovering but by now running is only for fun, I will not be anymore competitive.

Stats
- Running: km. 570 (354 m); 64 workouts, 3 races;
- Swimming: km. 62,2; 43 workouts;
- Days off: 109 for injures; 4 for flu.

One year in pictures

  2. Apart from the injuries 2014 looked pretty good. Especially on the travel front. I hope 2015 has some more great travel in store but no injuries.

  8. YES, let's throw 2014 away - for the most part. Onward to a more positive 2015. Even if you can't run competitively any longer, you can still run. And maybe you can still "race", but just for the opportunity to be around like-minded souls.

    I owe you an email, my friend, and will get that off to you very soon. In the meantime, thank you for sharing your wonderful pictures (I wish I could travel to all the cool places you've been!). Happy New Year!! Run strong! :)

  9. Here's to a better 2015 than 2014 was for you!

    You did see some beautiful places though.

    2014 wasn't my best year either and I'm glad it's over and we can move on to 2015.

  10. These are some big accomplishments, to overcome the injuries!
    I enjoyed seeing the rescue dog and you with the cat. My husband is a cat-lover too.

    Your grandson, the page, or maybe squire, is getting big!!

  12. I know race-wise and running-wise it wasn't a great year (though I'm pretty sure you have me beat in running mileage), but you did get to go some really cool places. I hope that 2015 is good to you!

  14. Your love of animals is so nice :) I hope you are through the injuries and 2015 holds good things for you. That fracture looked bad, that's a lot to recover from. Glad you got some running in before the year ended.
